Human data is precious. By empowering people with their own digital information we can unlock exponential new value for everyone: people, companies, NGO's, governments and more. When we do so, we will build a sustainable digital future for all. CitizenMe is working to create that future.

Why me? I looked for a company doing this and none existed. So I started one.

My background: I've been incredibly fortunate to be involved in multiple waves of digital transition.
- My last business enabled over 100 million people on four continents to connect to the Internet for the first time via their phones. In five years I boot-strapped it to million dollar revenues and a successful exit.
- It also showed me that a positive digital future is not just about more getting people online. It's about creating the right digital world for us all too.
- I spent 12 years based in Singapore from where I helped companies to serve consumers, digitally, in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe.
- Before this my team created the presence for T-Mobile across web, mobile and interactive TV and I coined the terms Multiple & Omni-Channel (2001).
- Delivered the global web presence for British Airways with teams in London and New York (1998).
- Took the worlds oldest daily newspaper, digital - the digital version was profitable within 6 months (1996).

Tech Strategy:
- A broad, deep understanding of the tech that underpins our digital world and the psychology that drives our digital behaviour.
- A strong read on future direction of technology; I wrote about smartphones becoming the worlds primary internet connection device (2000), and personal-data driving the development of our global society through the 21st century (2010).
- An award winning documentary about the human impact of Twitter (Twittamentary, 2010)
- A political science and economics major with a keen interest in psychology and the ethics of new digital technologies.

Commercial:
- I've consistently surpassed both my own and others expectations in every role since graduation (which I still think may just be luck).
- Boot-strapped my mobile internet start-up to a global client base in 5 years.
- Built businesses from zero to £12m revenue in 9 months and from zero to £20million revenue in 24months.
I’m an explorative thinker and know the complementary skills needed to ensure team success.

I'm passionate about the Internet’s potential to improve all our lives and the need to create tools that empower us, making the Internet work better for all: personally, economically and for a better society.

Oh… and I love liquorice.
